For my summer program SIFT (Summer Institute for Future Teachers), we had to do a research project on India. We are in groups, and we each had to chose a sub topic of the Indian culture. I chose to research the many different religions that are in the Indian culture. I found out a lot of information, and I learned a lot through this project. Here is my Power Point Presentation and the lesson plan that I created to go along with it.

India’s ReligionsMy name is Jen and I want to become a teacher, most likely 1st or 2nd grade. I am currently involved in a program at Eastern Connecticut State University to help train us for a future career in teaching. I want to become a teacher because I love helping children learn and grow. It is such a noble profession that raises up the next generation in our world. This is why I am at the SIFT program.
